(July 3, 2009) A time and place is now set for a local service to remember former Channel 2 News sportscaster Gary Papa.
Papa lost his battle with prostate cancer last month in Philadelphia, where he worked since he left Buffalo back in 1981. The public is invited to a memorial mass on Saturday July 11th, at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church on Englewood Avenue in Tonawanda. A reception will follow at 1 P.M. at the Harbour Club at HSBC Arena. _______________________
