SPORTSCASTER HOWARD TO KEEP BULLDOGS RADIO JOB

(June 19, 2009) Georgia is sticking with its football radio broadcast team.
Play-by-play announcer Scott Howard (left) and analyst Eric Zeier will continue to work on the Georgia radio network in the 2009 season. The two have been named the permanent broadcast team after moving into their roles following Larry Munson's retirement early in the 2008 season. Georgia athletic director Damon Evans called Howard and Zeier "a proven broadcast team." Howard was Munson's former longtime color analyst and also calls Georgia basketball games. Zeier is a former Georgia quarterback. |
