(June 19, 2009) KRLD-FM, "Your Sports Station" 105.3 The Fan, announced today a partnership with Texas A&M University. Dallas/Fort Worth's newest all-sports radio station will serve as the team's radio property featuring extensive live coverage of the Big 12 team. KRLD-FM's first official Texas A&M broadcast will be on Saturday, September 5 with Texas A&M vs. New Mexico.

Senior Vice President and General Manager of 105.3 The Fan David Henry commented, "We are very excited about adding Texas Aggie Football to our already strong line up of play by play sports. Texas A&M is an outstanding institution and has a very strong alumni group in the Dallas /Ft. Worth area. This is a natural fit with our plan to provide the best sports in Dallas/Ft. Worth."

"The Metroplex is an important area to Texas A&M football, and we are excited about this new relationship that provides our fans excellent radio coverage of our games," said Head Coach Mike Sherman.

"This is exciting news for Aggie fans and radio listeners in the Metroplex," said Texas A&M University Athletic Director Bill Byrne. "We're delighted to begin a new relationship with CBS Radio and KRLD-FM."

According to David Lawrence, general manager for Texas A&M Sports Properties which oversees the Texas A&M Radio Network, "KRLD will be a superb home for Aggie football, we're confident this partnership will provide a great opportunity for our Texas A&M fans in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area to follow the Aggies."
