LOUISVILLE BATS EXTEND RADIO DEAL
Press Release
(June 18, 2009) In a deal announced today by Bill Gentry, President of Clear Channel Louisville and Lexington, and Dale Owens, the General Manager of the Louisville Bats, Louisville Bats games will continue to be broadcast on WKRD 790 AM through at least 2013.
Louisville Bats games were first broadcast on WKRD AM starting during the 2007 season. The agreement includes all post-season games and the Triple-A All-Star Game. "The Clear Channel family is the perfect vehicle for the Louisville Bats," Owens stated. "We are thrilled not only with WKRD itself, but they are extremely aggressive in helping us promote our product over their entire family of stations." "We are very happy with our partnership with the Bats," said Gentry. "This is a solid, very popular community asset and we hope we are with them for many, many years to come." |
