Hogan will join Fortney at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., WBNS-10TV president and general manager Tom Griesdorn announced.

Veteran sportscaster Dom Tiberi will join the team of Andrea Cambern, Jerry Revish and Chris Bradley as the primary sports anchor for the top-rated 10TV News HD at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekdays. Hogan begins his assignment on Sunday, while Tiberi starts his new position the next day.

As a veteran sportscaster of more than a dozen years in television, Hogan has worked in five television markets. He has been in the main sports position at WBNS-TV since 1998. During his tenure at WBNS-10TV, he has served as host of both Buckeye football and basketball coaches' shows.

He also called the play-by-play for Ohio State hockey and baseball on ONN, as well as the annual Scarlet and Gray spring football game at Ohio stadium. In addition, he has served as host of the Columbus Blue Jackets pre-game show on Fox Sports Ohio.

"Throughout his career at 10TV, Jeff has demonstrated a strong commitment and leadership in our newsroom, in our community and with our viewers," Griesdorn said. "His success serving as interim anchor awaiting Aneitra Hamper's debut on our morning and noon newscasts, coupled with his interest in news anchoring, earned him a spot on the weekend desk. I am confident that, just as he did with sports, he will report the news with the passion, commitment and relevance that our viewers have come to expect from Central Ohio's News Leader."

Tiberi is an Emmy Award-winning sportscaster who was born and raised in Columbus. He joined 10TV 28 years ago, during which time he has served as the weekend sports anchor and co-host of Wall-to-Wall Sports.

Tiberi is most noted for his coverage of The Ohio State University. He has a record of being first to break stories on the Buckeyes and has a proven record of getting timely interviews from the coaching staffs and players through his daily work on this important sports beat. Tiberi's coverage of high school sports earned him an OHSAA Media Service Award for three consecutive years. He was also recognized with a Press Award from the Greater Columbus Tennis Association.

"Dom is synonymous with sports reporting in central Ohio and his popularity with viewers is overwhelming," Griesdorn said. "While it's difficult to fill Jeff Hogan's shoes, there is no one better qualified than Dom. We're excited to add his knowledge, expertise and award-winning talent to our evening newscasts."

As part of the changes, 10TV Sports Reporter/Anchor Dan Fronczak will assume Tiberi's place as sports anchor on the weekend desk.
