STATION AUDITIONING FOR NEXT GREAT SPORTSCASTER
Courtesy Canadian Press
(May 20, 2009) Think you've got what it takes to be a TV sportscaster?
If so, The Score wants to hear from you. The sports channel will be holding a series of auditions across the country this spring in its Search for Canada's Next Great Sportscaster contest. The first audition will be held May 25 in Halifax. Others will be held June 1 in Ottawa, June 3 in Winnipeg, June 8 in Vancouver, June 9 in Calgary and June 12-13 in Toronto. Applications and contest details can be found at www.DRAFTED.ca. Sixty people will be accepted for each audition and those invited will be asked to do a live audition that will be videotaped and judged at a later date. The winner will receive a one-year contract with The Score and a 13-month contract as a spokesman for Gillette, the contest's sponsor. |
