SPORTS HOST ROSENBERG OUT IN MIAMI
Courtesy
Miami Herald
(March 16, 2009) 790 The Ticket has dropped morning host Sid Rosenberg, several industry officials said Friday afternoon. Station manager Howard Davis declined to explain Rosenberg's departure but said it has nothing to do with drugs, alcohol or gambling. (Rosenberg reportedly has had problems with all three and has said he has been to rehabilitation centers in the past.)
Davis said he is considering several replacements. Jorge Sedano, 790's host from noon to 3 p.m., is a top candidate. Rosenberg, who had been with The Ticket since 2006, does not have another job lined up, agent Mark Lepselter said Friday afternoon. ''All parties felt it was best to part company,'' Lepselter said, declining to elaborate. (Rosenberg, however, would have stayed at The Ticket if he had been allowed to.) Rosenberg declined to comment Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. |
