Sacramento Business Journal
(February 10, 2009) The Sacramento River Cats and radio station 92.1 K-HITS are continuing their broadcast partnership for the 2009 baseball season, the companies said Monday.
K-HITS will broadcast all 144 regular-season River Cats games plus post-season games and the Triple-A All-Star Game that will be played July 15 in Portland, Ore. The River Cats also will have streaming game broadcasts available on their Web site at rivercats.com. Johnny Doskow will return for his ninth season handling all play-by-play duties on the ballclub’s broadcast, the River Cats said in a news release. The River Cats will defend their Triple-A Baseball championship when they open their 2009 season April 9 at home against the Tacoma Rainiers. |
