SPORTS HOST KRUEGER LANDS SHOW ON RUSSO'S SIRIUS CHANNEL

(January 26, 2009) Looks like Chris (Mad Dog) Russo's affinity for San Francisco has influenced a hiring decision on his Sirius/XM Mad Dog Radio channel.
Larry Krueger, who spent significant time yacking on Frisco's KNBR, will be Doggie's overnight Gasbag. The talkie comes to Sirius/XM carrying luggage. Back in 2005, he was fired (after being suspended) for making reference to the Giants' "brain-dead Caribbean hitters hacking at slop nightly." At the time, Krueger apologized to manager Felipe Alou, who refused to accept. Instead he called Krueger "the messenger of Satan ... and I believe there is no forgiveness for Satan." Russo's initial meeting with Krueger was not his first encounter with "the Devil". Doggie also met Satan while working a solo remote from the Nassau Coliseum. |
