SPORTS HOST REGHI JOINS WKNR
(January 12, 2009) Michael Reghi is the host for a new afternoon drive-time sports talk show on ESPN 850 WKNR (850-AM), the station announced today.

Reghi, the former television analyst for the Cavaliers for 12 seasons (1994-2006), will replace Mark ''Munch'' Bishop during the 3 to 6 p.m. spot.

''Michael is a favorite of our listeners and part of the fabric of Cleveland sports,'' said Craig Karmazin, President and CEO of Good KarmaBroadcasting, in a statement. ''His knowledge and opinions have powered our game-day shows for years, so it is exciting for our listeners and advertisers to have him as the daily clean-up hitter in our lineup.''

Bishop has been promoted to sports director at ESPN 850 WKNR, Cleveland's AM 1540 KNR2 and ESPNCleveland.com. Bishop will host ''Munch on This'' and ''Munch in the Community.'' Bishop will also continue to host ESPN 850 WKNR Ohio State football and Browns pregame shows.

Reghi is a two-time Emmy recipient for his play-by-play work and has been the host of WKNR's Cavaliers and Browns postgame shows.

''I'm very excited to enhance my role with the very talented group of professionals at ESPN 850 WKNR,'' Reghi said. ''Since joining Craig Karmazin in 2007, I've admired his vision and the aggressive approach he and his administrative group have carved out in making the station extremely relevant in the Cleveland market.

''I look forward to sharing the tremendous passion the fans of Cleveland maintain for sports while we exchange ideas in a spirited fashion during the 3-6 p.m. time slot,'' Reghi said. ''My teammates and I will keep it lively, fresh, thought-provoking and entertaining. We aim to please and to keep you fired up about everything that is Cleveland sports.''
