“Dave & Scott in the Morning,” which was a simulcast of a radio show broadcast on sports-talk station 93.9 FM The Ticket, has been off the air since early December since Cumulus Media Inc., owner of The Ticket, changed the station’s format and dropped the show.

The new version of “Dave & Scott in the Morning” will be a television-only show, running from 6:30 to 8 a.m., WBKI-TV said in a news release.

“With the return of Dave & Scott, we continue to make good on our promise to champion local programming in all forms,” WBKI-TV station manager Dan Spangler said in a news release.

Ragone, one of the most prolific quarterbacks in University of Louisville history, also had a stint in the National Football League with the Houston Texans and St. Louis Rams. He was NFL Europe’s Offensive MVP in 2005, leading the Berlin Thunder to World Bowl XIII.

Padgett, a graduate of Louisville’s Saint Xavier High School, was a starter on the 1997-98 University of Kentucky basketball team that won the NCAA national championship. He also spent some time in the National Basketball Association, with the Utah Jazz.

The CW Louisville is broadcast on over-the-air channels 28 and 34, Insight cable channel 7, and on Dish Network and DirecTV. It is affiliated with the CW Television Network.
