BARR TWINS TO CALL BASEBALL GAME
(July 21, 2008) AirHogs fans could be seeing -- and hearing – double next week.

The AirHogs, Grand Prairie's minor league baseball team, will feature twin broadcasters at next Wednesday night’s game against the El Paso Diablos.

AirHogs’ broadcaster Alan Barr will team with his identical twin, Jon, who is the Diablos’ broadcaster.

“They look alike and sound even more alike,” AirHogs General Manager Dave Burke said.

“I figure we put them together for a broadcast and get twice the output.”

In addition to the twin broadcast, the team will offer lookalike fans a “buy one, get one twin in for free” discount for the game.

Fans can hear the game on the Web at www.airhogsbaseball.com.
