(July 16, 2008) Sportsteam 18's Kelly Crull said goodbye to WLFI-TV viewers Tuesday night after nearly two years of working as a sports anchor/reporter/photographer at NewsChannel 18.
Crull has accepted a sports anchor/reporter position at KOCO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City. "I can't say enough 'thank yous' to all the wonderful athletic administrators, directors, coaches, and athletes I have had the opportunity to get to know over the years", Crull said. Crull joined WLFI-TV in September 2006 after graduating from Missouri, where the Noblesville native played college tennis for the Tigers. "Kelly has done a tremendous job and we'll miss her greatly", said WLFI-TV Sports Director Mike Cleff. "We're thrilled for her opportunity but sad at the same time because we're losing a terrific sportscaster and an even better person." Crull's duties at WLFI-TV included co-anchoring the Friday Night Frenzy. |
